Mould Release Agent
A mould release agent is a substance applied to the surface of a mould or tool to facilitate the easy removal of the moulded product from the mould. This is particularly important in industries such as rubber and plastic manufacturing, where intricate and detailed products are often created using moulds. Our MRA comes as a saviour to both the product and the mould during the de-moulding stage. PS 210, which is a high-performance Silicone Mould Release Agent. This classic macro emulsion of medium-active poly-dimethyl-Siloxane polymer ensures exceptional release and shine for a variety of plastic and footwear applications. E.g. Tyre Treading moulds, plastic water tank moulds etc.
The milky white liquid exhibits a specific gravity of 0.98-1.10 and a pH range of 5.0-7.0,dissolving on slow addition of water. Performance features include withstanding curing temperatures up to 300°C, providing uniform release, and enhancing shine on products.PS 210 leaves no residual sedimentation on mould surfaces due to minimal surfactants,ensuring a smooth finish. It is skin friendly and causes no irritation to skin.
